Model, actress, interior design expert, luxury realtor, self-proclaimed DIY queen, mental health advocate, motivational speaker, and fan favorite on Netflix hit series _Selling Sunset, _Amanza Smith is a serial entrepreneur born and raised in Indiana with a passion for interior design, architecture, and real estate. When she appeared as the newest cast member on Season 2 of Selling Sunset, it was clear that she brought something undeniably special to the team. Her design expertise, adept staging ability, and discerning eye transformed the look and feel of the multi-million-dollar properties listed by The Oppenheim Group.
In addition to her radiant beauty and business savvy, her keen sense of style, attention to detail, and je nais se quois - Amanza immediately emerged as a key player of The Oppenheim Group and stellar addition to the Selling Sunset cast, becoming a fan favorite beloved by viewers around the world. Regarding her love for interior design, Amanza states, “Design is a natural talent that I have always had that came from growing up really poor living in a trailer. I would get, like, one can of paint a year, and paint everything in my room, from the bunk beds to the dresser to the accessories. I got very creative and became a DIY master at a young age.” It was this enjoyment and enthusiasm that drove Amanza to pursue a career in interior design.
After studying Interior Design, she moved to Los Angeles where she began a successful career in modeling and entertainment, including a position as an NFL cheerleader for the Indianapolis Colts, features in many magazines, television commercials, and two seasons of the hit NBC game show DEAL OR NO DEAL. She is on the board of advisors for Fashwire, an app for discovering worldwide contemporary and luxury fashion.
An activist, survivor, and now mentor for child trauma victims, she supports numerous organizations and benefits for sexual abuse victims including Childhelp - a US non-profit organization based in Palm Springs dedicated to preventing and treating child abuse.
In her personal life, Amanza is a single mother of two, managing the demands of her multi-faceted entrepreneurial design and real estate career, her role on Netflix’s smash hit Selling Sunset, motivational speaking, and mental health advocate in addition to juggling her children’s social lives as well as her own. Amanza says that motherhood is by far her greatest accomplishment and it goes without saying that she has built an extraordinary professional path for herself.
