world-renowned Hollywood floral designer & fragrancier
A world-renowned floral designer, Eric Buterbaugh lends his impeccable style, attention to detail and true appreciation for beauty and elegance to notable celebrities, society figures, and fashion houses.
Before flowers, Eric worked in fashion. In the early ‘90’s - at the height of Versace mania - he was running the U.K. side of the company’s business for Gianni Versace. “Now that was fun,” he says. “I’d wake up at the Ritz in Paris after a [fashion] show, and Christy [Turlington] would be asleep on one side and Naomi [Campbell] on the other. And I’d look down and there’s Donatella [Versace] at the foot of the bed.”
In 1998, Eric left London and moved to Los Angeles where he unexpectedly fell into floral design. A dear friend of Eric’s asked him to design flowers for a dinner party just for fun. Of course, everyone loved the flowers and asked who the florist was. As a joke, Eric’s friend gave out his number and the rest is history. Eric has established himself as the most prominent florist in the world, describing his work as “opulent flowers presented in a modern way”.
In 2015, Eric’s passion for floral beauty and artistry made way for the eponymous fragrance brand, EB Florals, which sky-rocketed to become one of the most successful niche perfume brands to date.
Eric’s impeccable style, attention to detail and appreciation for beauty and elegance come through in everything he touches.
