Rachel Zoe is a distinguished designer, stylist, curator and entrepreneur renowned for her effortless take on glamour, known globally (in 40+ markets) as an arbiter of style by magazine editors, advertising agencies, fashion houses and celebrities alike. She is the CEO, CCO and Founder of: her eponymous ready-to-wear and footwear collection the Rachel Zoe Collection, luxury fashion and beauty subscription service CURATEUR, editorial site The Zoe Report, and venture capital firm Rachel Zoe Ventures. She also hosts podcast CLIMBING IN HEELS WITH RACHEL ZOE, where she she interviews other female powerhouses with varying backgrounds and across different industries. Rachel’s likeliness connects with a highly engaged, stylish and growing audience.
In 2008, Zoe's reality series, THE RACHEL ZOE PROJECT, debuted on Bravo to rave reviews and continued on for 5 seasons. The program followed professional and personal aspects of Rachel’s life, including her styling jobs, design of her fashion collections and interactions with husband-turned-business partner Rodger Berman. Rachel’s signature catchphrases - including “I die” and “bananas” – have since become household vernacular. In March 2019, Rachel announced that she is teaming up with Mark Burnett and MGM TV on an international fashion competition series aimed at undiscovered designers. The show is currently in development.
Zoe began her career as an editor and went on to build one of the industry’s most well regarded and enviable client lists as a wardrobe/fashion stylist. Rachel’s clients have included Anne Hathaway, Cameron Diaz, Debra Messing, Demi Moore, Eva Mendes, Jennifer Garner, Jennifer Lawrence, Joy Bryant, Kate Hudson, Kate Beckinsale, Liv Tyler, Miley Cyrus, Nicole Richie and Paula Patton, amongst many others. In 2011, Zoe released her first contemporary collection – RACHEL ZOE - of apparel, footwear, and handbags influenced by her vintage-inspired, 60s and 70s style. The collection resonates with a glamorous, sophisticated, yet effortless modern woman and is distributed globally.
In 2009, Rachel founded The Zoe Report, a daily newsletter delivering what she was coveting in worlds of lifestyle, beauty and fashion directly to your inbox. This editorial project garnered quick popularity. In 2015 The Zoe Report launched Box of Style, rebranded as CURATEUR in 2020.
Rachel sits on the Board of Directors of BABY2BABY, an organization that provides children living in poverty, ages 0-12 years, with diapers, clothing and all the basic necessities that every child deserves. She is also an Artist Ambassador for Save the Children, aiming to raise awareness and advocate for the health and well-being of mothers and children every day and in times of crises.
Rachel was born and raised in New York. Rachel met investment banker Rodger Berman in 1991, when both were attending college in Washington, D.C.. They married in 1998 and have two sons, Skyler Morrison Berman (born March 2011) and Kaius "Kai" Jagger Berman (born December 2013).
