Samuel Arnold is a French actor and producer, born in Paris, with heritage from the Ivory Coast and the Central African Republic. He stars as fan‑favorite ‘Julien’ in Netflix’s global hit EMILY IN PARIS that was renewed for season 6, with season 5 streaming globally on Netflix. Best known for his sharp, fashion‑forward presence on the series, he is now expanding into independent features, with upcoming roles in the independent feature EXPECTATIONS, a contemporary take on Charles Dickens’ classic GREAT EXPECTATIONS, and the indie film OUT ON A LIMB opposite Alfred Molina.

He produced and starred in his first short film NOLAN’S TREASURE in 2023, marking his move into work behind the camera in addition to his on‑screen performances. On earlier French screens, he starred in the television film TUER UN HOMME (LIFE AFTER KILLING) in 2016, which won Best TV Movie at the La Rochelle Film Festival, and appeared in the Canal Plus series PLATANE in 2011.

Arnold began his artistic career as a professional dancer in his teens, performing on television shows, tours and musicals, and reaching the finals of LA FRANCE A UN INCROYABLE TALENT with his hip hop crew before transitioning into acting. He trained at a film school in Paris and a drama school in London, where he first resided and made his acting debut, later performing on stage at London’s National Theatre in ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA alongside Ralph Fiennes.

A multi talented French actor working internationally with representation in the UK, US, China and France, he continues to build a career that moves between global television, independent cinema and self‑generated projects.
