'The Doc' on Showtime's Billions, known for USA’s Suits, upcoming in horror pic Thanksgiving
Rick Hoffman is best known for his iconic role in USA Network’s SUITS as Louis Litt, the intelligent, but fragile managing partner at Zane Specter Litt Wheeler Williams. After nine successful seasons, Rick most recently recurred on Showtime’s BILLIONS, opposite Paul Giamatti.
A stage, film and television veteran, Hoffman has appeared in feature films “Hostel” and “Hostel: Part II,” directed by Eli Roth, and “Blood Work,” directed by Clint Eastwood. Hoffman’s additional film credits include “Cellular,” “The Day After Tomorrow,” “Conspiracy Theory” and “The Condemned.”
Named one of the “10 Actors to Watch” by Variety for his performance in Darren Star’s “The Street” opposite Jennifer Connelly, Hoffman has had a number of noteworthy roles on television. Additional television credits include “Ballers,” “Samantha Who?,” “The Bernie Mac Show” and the critically-acclaimed Stephen Bochco drama, “Philly.” Hoffman also recurred on “Dark Blue” and “Commander and Chief” and has numerous guest star credits, including “Law & Order: SVU,” “Monk,” “Without A Trace,” “Leverage,” “Lie to Me” and “Human Target.”
Hoffman studied acting from the John Strasberg School of Acting and the University of Arizona. Born and raised in New York, Hoffman currently resides in Ontario, Canada and is the proud father of son Cole.
