Robert Iler is best known for starring on HBO drama THE SOPRANOS as ‘A.J. Soprano , the son of series lead ‘Tony Soprano’, which aired from 1999 until 2007. In 2022, he and co-star Jamie-Lynn Sigler reprised their roles in a Super Bowl spot for Chevy in a recreation of the classic Sopranos intro for the new generation. The pair also started a podcast together in 2023 called NOT TODAY PAL, produced by the YMH studios owned by comedians Tom Segura and Christina Pazsitzky. The pair are polar opposite personalities, yet somehow have managed to remain best friends. Jamie is a complete sweetheart and Rob is a real-life Oscar the Grouch. Each week, Rob presents segments and questions prepared for Jamie to further demonstrate how differently they think, giving a deeper look into their dynamic relationship and finding hilarious ways for two people who are so different to find common ground.

Robert’s film roles include THE TIC CODE (1998), TADPOLE (2002), and DAREDEVIL (2003). After the conclusion of THE SOPRANOS in 2007, he retired from acting and moved to Las Vegas to pursue a career as a professional poker player.

Robert was born in New York, New York, USA. He started his show business career at the age of six, when he was discovered while walking down the street in Manhattan. He immediately was hired to appear in a commercial for Pizza Hut. He has appeared in more commercials for IBM, AT&T, VH1, and ESPN, as well as an episode of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (1975) appearing with Rosie O'Donnell.
