Alexandra Breckenridge leads in the popular Netflix series "Virgin River” as Mel, a big city nurse who moves to the small town of Virgin River for a fresh start. The series ranks high ratings, not only for Netflix, but all streamers combined. When Nielson released their yearly TV rankings and "Virgin River" ranked #4 for the most streamed original program of 2023 and in 2022 "Virgin River" became the sixth show to spend at least 100 days in the Netflix Top 10. The series has been picked up for a season 8, making it Netflix’ longest running scripted series!

Audiences loved Alexandra as Sophie, Kevin’s childhood girlfriend and former wife on the award-winning NBC drama series "This Is Us. She won a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by and Ensemble in a Drama Series in 2018 for her work on the show. She is also well-known for her work on the genre shows "The Walking Dead" and "American Horror Story." She also starred alongside Courteney Cox in the FX series DIRT. She also hosts a Podcast “I Like You Very Much” with her good friend and VR co-star Zibby Allen.

While she has always had a passion for cooking, Alexandra gained popularity in the food space over the past few years. Her Instagram is very food forward and her 1M+ followers now rely on her as their go to for culinary tips, tricks and love recreating her recipes at home. Press outlets have started picking up recipes from her Instagram and including them on their websites and she did her first cooking demo on “The Talk” in October 2023.
