Ali Larter is an American actress and former model who has been captivating audiences for decades. With a career spanning multiple genres - from the satirical charm of Legally Blonde to the gripping intensity of Final Destination and the action-packed escapades of Resident Evil - she has carved a niche for herself as an actor who can do it all. She presently co-stars as ‘Angela Norris’ in the Taylor Sheridan-created Paramount+ drama series Landman. Set in the boomtowns of Texas, the series has garnered massive audiences and cemented itself as the most-watched Paramount+ original of all time. Her character is sharp-witted and fiercely independent, navigating the high-stakes world of oil and gas.

Her modeling career began when she was discovered at just 14 years old. She quickly rose to prominence, appearing in global campaigns for major brands and landing coveted spreads in magazines. She soon transitioned into acting, where she found success on both the small and big screens. She made her infamous film debut in Varsity Blues (1999), which was followed by the horror film House on Haunted Hill (1999). Her role as ‘Clear Rivers’ in the Final Destination franchise (2000–2003) established her as a scream queen.

Larter played supporting roles as ‘Brooke Windham’ in Legally Blonde (2001), Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001) and the romantic comedy A Lot Like Love (2005), and main roles in the Bollywood movie Marigold (2007) and the thriller Obsessed (2009). She achieved wider recognition for playing the dual roles of Niki Sanders and Tracy Strauss on the popular NBC sci-fi series Heroes (2006–2010), and for portraying the video game heroine Claire Redfield in the Resident Evil film series (2007–2016). 

Her presence in the media is reinforced by her appearances in lists compiled by Maxim, FHM, and Stuff, as well as People magazine's "Best Dressed List" in 2007. A skilled cook, she wrote Kitchen Revelry: A Year of Festive Menus from My Home to Yours in 2013. She made her foray into wine making with Forever Gold Wine in 2022.

In 2020, Larter left LA for the peaceful mountains of Idaho alongside her husband - actor and comedian Hayes MacArthur, their two children Theodore & Vivienne, and their Bernese Mountain dog Nala. They still spend plenty of time in California and, particularly now, in Texas.
