Evan Ross (Agent Sam Williams) made his acting debut in 2006 in Antwone Fisher’s hit film ATL opposite Mykelti Williamson and Keith David. He has since starred in a number of major feature films including Hulu’s The United States vs. Billie Holiday, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Parts 1 & 2, A Snowy Day in Oakland, The Loneliest Boy in the World, which he also EP'd, Skate God, CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story, Pink Skies Ahead, She Ball, Courtney Cox’s Just Before I Go opposite Elisha Cuthbert and Andrea Sperling’s All the Wilderness opposite Virginia Madsen. He was recently seen in Matthew Currie Holmes’ The Curse of Buckout Road opposite Danny Glover.
On television, Evan starred on Fox musical drama Star and in E! Network's docu-series Ashlee and Evan with his wife, Ashlee Simpson Ross, which the duo also executive produced. He had a recurring role as Charlie Selby on the CW's teen drama series 90210 and starred on ABC's procedural drama series Wicked City as Diver Hawkes. He was also seen in Fox's The Masked Singer and is set to star in indie action dramedy Turnbuckle from Sean McEwen.
As a musician, Evan released his first single “Yes Me” in 2011 and dropped his second single, featuring rapper T.I., “How to Live Alone” in 2015. More recently, Evan recorded the duets “Don’t Look at Me” and “All I Want” for the series Star with Brittany O’Grady. In 2018, Ross and his wife Ashlee Simpson released a duet collaboration EP Ashlee + Evan and debuted their reality TV series on E! of the same name and followed with a cross-country tour in 2019.
Ross is the son of late mountaineer Arne Næss and the legendary singer and actor Diana Ross. He and his wife live in Los Angeles with their two children.
