Harold Perrineau is an acclaimed film and television actor with a career spanning over three decades, and a NAACP Award winner and SAG Award winner, earning additional recognitions including NAACP Image Award nominations and Saturn Award nominations. He currently stars as ‘Boyd Stevens’ in MGM+’s hit sci-fi horror series FROM, which will return for season 4 on April 19. The series has become the most-watched original in the platform’s history, with Perrineau’s performance widely praised for its emotional depth and commanding presence at the center of the show.

He is best known for his iconic role as ‘Michael Dawson’ in LOST, one of television’s most culturally defining series, and for his standout portrayal of ‘Mercutio’ in ROMEO + JULIET, widely considered one of the most memorable performances in the film, as well as standout performances in OZ (‘Augustus Hill’), CLAWS, SONS OF ANARCHY, CONSTANTINE, and THE ROOKIE.

His film credits include THE MATRIX RELOADED and THE MATRIX REVOLUTIONS, where he portrayed ‘Link,’ THE BEST MAN franchise, along with SMOKE, for which he received an Independent Spirit Award nomination. His early career includes originating roles in FAME: THE MUSICAL and performances on Broadway, in addition to work in music and voice acting.

Beyond acting, Perrineau is a co-founder of Sable Bourbon, a premium spirits brand created alongside his THE BEST MAN co-stars, expanding his presence into the lifestyle and hospitality space.

He is based in Los Angeles with his wife, actress Brittany Perrineau, and their three daughters.
