Krysten is an actress, director and author best known for starring as the titular character in Marvel’s JESSICA JONES. Most recently, Krysten wrapped the independent feature, STONE COLD FOX, with Kiernan Shipka and Kiefer Sutherland. This Christmas, she can be seen opposite Jim Carrey in SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3 for Paramount. Prior to that, Krysten appeared as the series lead in ORPHAN BLACK: ECHOES for AMC, as well as the HBO Max limited series, LOVE & DEATH, opposite Elizabeth Olsen and Jesse Plemons. Krysten famously portrayed the character of ‘Jane Margolis’ in the critically acclaimed series BREAKING BAD and surprised fans when she appeared in the 2019 feature EL CAMINO, directed by Vince Gilligan. Other notable TV credits include Netflix’s THE DEFENDERS and ABC’s DON’T TRUST THE B---- IN APARTMENT 23. As a director, Krysten made her television directorial debut in third season of Marvel’s JESSICA JONES, as well as THE GIRL IN THE WOODS for Peacock.
 
On the feature side, Krysten was the female lead of the Netflix film NIGHTBOOKS directed by David Yarovesky. Krysten has memorably worked with acclaimed directors including Tim Burton in BIG EYES, Amy Heckerling in VAMPS and Brett Haley in THE HERO. In 2017, Krysten published her debut novel, Bonfire, to rave reviews and is currently working on her follow up. Krysten also has a production company, Silent Machine, as well as a non-scripted series she is working on set in the world of competitive knitting.
