Lisa went on to address Congress about the same issues and produce and release her documentary, The Road to Yulin…and Beyond, which covers the last two years of The Vanderpump Dog Foundation’s mission trips to China, to expose the torture that occurs during the annual Yulin Dog Meat Festival. The film gives an in depth look at the horrific and brutal interactions that dogs face in parts of the world that have an unrestrained dog meat trade. The Documentary held its World Premiere at the LA Awareness Festival, where it subsequently won the Audience Award, and is now available on Prime Video. Recently, Lisa was thanked on the congressional floor by Congressman Alcee Hastings (D-FL) for her aid in helping pass House Resolution 401, a formal condemnation of the dog meat trade by the United States.
