
Emmy and Critics Choice nominated actor, producer, stars in NBC’s Brilliant Minds, best known as ‘Spock’ in the Star Trek franchise
Zachary Quinto is an acclaimed actor and producer whose work spans award-winning film, prestige television, and celebrated stage performances. He can currently be seen leading season 2 of NBC’s hit medical drama BRILLIANT MINDS as ‘Dr. Oliver Wolf’, bringing emotional depth and intellectual complexity to the series’ central role. Up next, Quinto continues development on the highly anticipated Star Trek 4 film, reprising his iconic portrayal of Spock — one of the franchise’s most defining and globally recognized characters.
Quinto is best known for his work in the Star Trek franchise, as well as a diverse slate of films that highlight both his range and creative vision. He starred in and produced the critically acclaimed, award-winning thriller Margin Call under his company Before the Door Pictures — a film that earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay and a Critics Choice nomination for Best Ensemble. His additional film credits include Snowden, Hotel Artemis, I Am Michael, and Best of Enemies (2019). Recent notable work includes: Rightor Doyle’s feature film Down Low opposite Lukas Gage for Film Nation Entertainment, and He Went That Way opposite Jacob Elordi for Vertical Entertainment (both films had their respective world premieres at the 2023 SXSW Film Festivaland 2023 Tribeca Film Festival) in addition to the Netflix feature adaptation of The Boys in the Band (2020) which reunited the full Tony-winning Broadway cast.
On television, Quinto has delivered standout performances across numerous high-profile series, including Heroes, American Horror Story — for which he received an Emmy nomination — as well as NOS4A2, So Notorious, and The Slap. His work is consistently recognized for its psychological depth, precision, and transformative character portrayals.
He completed his critically acclaimed West End Debut as ‘Gore Vidal’ in James Graham’s play BEST OF ENEMIES. He recently starred on Broadway in the dark comedy play CULT OF LOVE (2024).
As co-founder of Before the Door Pictures, Quinto has produced several acclaimed projects and supported innovative storytelling across film and theater. Beyond acting and producing, he is active in design, architecture, photography, and fashion, with features in L’Officiel, W Magazine, Interview, Numero Netherlands, Photobook, and others.
A dedicated advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, representation, and mental-health awareness, Quinto works with organizations such as GLAAD and supports initiatives expanding arts access and community-centered storytelling.
