
Grammy nominated singer/songwriter, actress, host, producer, serial entrepreneur, co-founder of Beignet Box, stars in Lifetime's He Couldn’t Let Go
Christina Milian is a budding multi-media mogul with enterprises in music, fashion, food, television, and film. Born in New Jersey and raised in Waldorf, Maryland, Milian knew show business was for her immediately. At a young age, Milian became a junior journalist on the Disney Channel's MOVIE SURFERS. Before igniting her musical journey, she appeared as a guest on several TV shows, such as CLUELESS, SISTER, SISTER, SMART GUY, CHARMED, THE STEVE HARVEY SHOW and as a recurring character on GET REAL.
Christina’s first lead role was in the 2003 film LOVE DON'T COST A THING and then she went right into BE COOL opposite John Travolta, Uma Thurman, and Vince Vaughn with F. Gary Gray directing. Christina had a fun role in GHOSTS OF GIRLFRIENDS PAST opposite Matthew McConaughey and starred as the lead role in the film, BRING IT ON: FIGHT TO THE FINISH. She starred in the holiday movies SNOWGLOBE, THE CHRISTMAS CUPID, and in Netflix holiday rom-com, MEET ME NEXT CHRISTMAS, that quickly rose to #1 in the US and 38 other countries upon debut, and starred as 'Mariana' in thriller BODY LANGUAGE -- her first film as a producer. Christina is also the voice of “Esther” on Fox’s hit animated series, FAMILY GUY. Christina starred on the Fox comedy series, GRANDFATHERED, opposite John Stamos and Josh Peck and was a lead in the in the Kenny Ortega-directed TV event, ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW, also for Fox. Most recently, Christina starred in Paramount+ and Showtime drama series DEXTER: ORIGINAL SIN, in the second season of Sony/Crackle’s THE OATH opposite Ryan Kwanten and Katrina Law, and in the Netflix series SOUNDTRACK opposite Jenna Dewan, She is also known for leading Netflix's romantic comedies FALLING INN LOVE and RESORT TO LOVE. She starred as the lead in Starz series STEP UP: HIGH WATER opposite Ne-Yo.
Christina’s musical career began when she signed to Island/Def Jam/UMG at the age of 18 and was quickly selected to sing the hook on Ja Rule's No. 1 hit single, "Between Me and You." The enormous success of the song introduced her to the mainstream music world and gave her commercial success. Christina then co-wrote the Jennifer Lopez hit "Play" and Paula DeAnda's popular "Walk Away," and she was one of the co-writers of Justin Bieber's smash "Baby." Her self- titled debut, "Christina Milian," produced the hit "AM to PM" which was her break out into pop culture. Several of Christina’s singles charted in top 5 in the states and internationally. Christina’s "It's About Time," released on Island/Def Jam/UMG, featured the mega-hit "Dip It Low" which she was twice nominated for Grammy awards.
A serial entrepreneur, Christina co-owns Beignet Box, which grew from a mobile food truck into bricks and mortar and in 2026 launched a canned ready-to-drink coffee line into Rouses Markets across Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. She designs AM:PM, a line of baby strollers and highchairs, and co-owns Persona Technologies, Facebook's #1 chatbot vendor designing experiences for the likes of Fenty and Katy Perry.
Christina resides between Los Angeles and France with husband Matt Pokora, international French pop star and burgeoning restaurateur, and their three children.
