
Puerto Rican music star, founder of Belle Productions, 'Rosalia' in Steven Spielberg’s Oscar nominated West Side Story, upcoming in two films
A Puerto Rican music star, Ana Isabelle got her start in 2007 when she stole the hearts of over 30 million Latinos who voted her the winner of music reality show VIVA EL SUEÑO, where she was crowned the new Latin music rising star. She was also a vocal coach on LA VOZ KIDS, and was a judge on the popular IDOL KIDS PUERTO RICO. She starred as the lead in 5 episodes of DECISIONES PUERTO RICO. Her other television credits include YOUNGER, STRANGERS, and BIG DOGS. More recently, she starred on MIRA QUIÉN BAILA, a Spanish-language dancing reality show that aired in Mexico and premiered #1 in its time slot.
She joined a veteran film cast in indie thriller IMPRISONED alongside Laurence Fishburne, and co-starred in the remake of Coppola’s DEMENTIA 13. Other film credits include AFTER EVERYTHING with Marisa Tomei & Maika Monroe, SEASONS OF LOVE with Gladys Knight, Academy Award Nominee Taraji P. Henson, LeToya Luckett and Cliff “Method Man” Smith, THE EYES, YELLOW and EL CANTANTE. She recently starred in KILLING CASTRO alongside Diego Boneta and Al Pacino, which world premiered at TIFF, and in comedy DIARIO: MUJER Y CAFÉ. She also starred in drama film COGNIZANCE and has an upcoming film FIGHT BACK from her company Belle Productions.
Singing to sold out audiences, Ana has graced concert stages as a solo artist and singing duets with Gilberto Santa Rosa at Carnegie Hall, Placido Domingo, Jose Feliciano, Luis Fonsi, and at Citi Field singing the Star-Spangled Banner for the NY Mets. She has released 3 highly successful albums in Latin America and the US. Billboard Magazine called her "An Artist To Watch". Her single QUIÉN DIJO AMIGOS?, co-written by Puerto Rican superstar Luis Fonsi, reached the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks Top 50 chart. In 2018, she starred in the opening of the NBC Upfronts at Radio City singing THE GREATEST SHOWMAN hit THIS IS ME, with more than 100 Latinos on stage as her ensemble. Her YouTube channel showcasing her music videos has garnered over 53 million views. She was the first Latina music artist featured in a TNT NBA All Stars commercial, when she and Actor Chazz Palminteri paid homage to the greats of the basketball world with Ana singing POWER by Kanye West. She also recently released a single Pa' Lante Voy with Alex Zurdo for her upcoming film.
She made her New York stage debut Off-Broadway in musical I LIKE IT LIKE THAT with Tito Nieves. She won Broadway World’s Regional Award for Best Actress her performances as ‘Eva Peron’ in Asolo Repertory Theatre’s EVITA, and as ‘Anita’ in Guthrie Theatre’s WEST SIDE STORY. She also played a lead role in Off-Broadway show QUIÉN MATÓ A HÉCTOR LAVOE. She recently starred as 'Vanessa' in a musical production of Lin Manuel Miranda's acclaimed IN THE HEIGHTS and in James McLure's dark comedy LONE STAR at Theatre Row. Other musical roles include FAME, A CHORUS LINE, AND HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL.
She landed the role of ‘Rosalia’ in Steven Spielberg’s feature film version of Broadway hit musical WEST SIDE STORY, which shot on location in New York City. While the beloved musical is considered an old Hollywood classic, Spielberg's reimagining centers actual Latino actors in the leading roles. She also starred as 'Anita' in a production of WEST SIDE STORY in Puerto Rico. She is also working on her fourth album.
